Our annual symposium is an opportunity to celebrate the amazing work everyone in the BioInspired Institute is doing in the classroom and laboratories. After the COVID lockdown we wanted to create an event to bring our faculty, staff and students together and give students as well as faculty a chance to interact and present their research. Our hope is for the symposium to be enjoyed from year to year.
The 2022 symposium included keynote speaker Rein Ulijn, Director, Nanoscience Initiative, Advanced Science Research Center, City University of New York. Institute leadership delivered a presentation on the work we have been doing for the last several years, including an overview of programming, the facilities and website, and grant activity. We also heard from Chancellor Kent Syverud and Provost Gretchen Ritter about the impact our institute has on campus. The institute has a focus on colaborative work and we are happy to bring that all together at the symposium for years to come. Please see below for our award winners of 2022 and some photos from the event.
